We're excited to welcome Dr Kate Davies to the All Health Matters wellness team and expand our services to include private GP appointments.
Dr Kate is an experienced GP with a passion for empowering people to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. She champions a holistic approach, specialising in mental wellbeing, lifestyle medicine, and women's health (including menopause management). Dr Kate works within the NHS and privately, utilising a "small steps" philosophy to create achievable lifestyle changes. A busy parent herself, she understands the challenges of modern life and enjoys helping patients integrate healthy habits into their daily routines. When not supporting her patients, Dr Kate can be found outdoors with her 2 dogs, recharging in nature.
Dr Kate is a champion of lifestyle medicine to help people achieve long-term health improvements rather than temporary quick fixes.

We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the medical professional you're talking to, so we asked Dr Kate to tell us about lifestyle medicine, her philosophy, and her approach so you can decide if she's the right fit for you.
Dr Kate: "Discovering lifestyle medicine has reignited my passion for medicine. This evidence-based approach empowers patients to take control of their health by focusing on preventing and managing chronic conditions through sustainable lifestyle changes, alongside traditional medication. Medicines can be vitally important but patients often tell me that they feel that they haven’t been truly heard and understood until we work together using the holistic approach that lifestyle medicine offers.
I believe in meeting patients where they are, and identifying whatever current health challenges they are currently facing. I enjoy helping them identify achievable first steps to improve their wellbeing. This personalised approach focuses on six key areas: healthy eating, physical activity, quality sleep, strong social connections, positive mental health, and reduced reliance on harmful substances.
Through lifestyle medicine, I've witnessed remarkable transformations in patients suffering from diverse challenges like burnout, irritable bowel syndrome, functional stroke recovery, rheumatoid arthritis, migraines, diabetes, and menopause. By starting with small, sustainable changes in one or more of the six pillars of lifestyle medicine, they experienced gradual improvements in their overall health and well-being, regaining a sense of control over their lives."
