About the Role
Reporting to: Business Development Manager
Site: Home-based/Hybrid with travel (option to work from our Canterbury and East London clinics) - Kent/London based preferred due to geography of client base
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs/week Monday – Friday
Salary: £26,300 - £29,000
The role sits between business development, client relationship management and practical business support. You’ll help us keep our systems organised, support new and existing clients, and contribute to projects that make the business run more smoothly.
It would suit an outgoing, confident person who's excited to learn the ins and outs of occupational health, enjoys keeping their admin on point, is interested in sales and building strong relationships, and is good with Excel and other Microsoft products.
We're a small business so in every role there's a commitment to pitching in where needed. This is even truer of this role which includes business support – a function that responds to business need, working across different projects, taking ownership of problems or inefficiencies, and finding solutions.
We're looking for a great all-rounder who can keep the wheels turning whilst keeping an eye on the bigger picture. There are some repetitive tasks alongside a variety of other tasks and projects to sink your teeth into, so there's a real opportunity to learn and get experience in a range of different areas. If you're someone who enjoys that mix, this could be the job for you.
As part of this role, you will:
Maintain our CRM system and become our CRM champion.
Support the Business Development Manager with sales admin and business development.
Handle straightforward sales enquiries in liaison with the operations and clinical teams.
Liaise with clients to ensure smooth onboarding and handover to ops.
Produce monthly management information reports for clients.
Attend business shows and exhibitions to represent AHM.
Visit AHM’s Head Office in Canterbury at least two days a month.
Visit client sites with the Business Development Manager and independently to hold sales or client care meetings.
Support the board of directors with a variety of tasks and responsibilities as required (such as arranging company away days and team training, sending out contracts to third-party providers and tracking responses, arranging uniform orders etc.)
Respond to business need by working on current projects lead by the board of directors.
Be an ambassador for AHM's human-focused, kind, and bold ethos.
Be a present and active member of our company, seeking always to support the business.

About the Company
We are a small but ambitious employee-owned company with clinics in Canterbury and London. We support other businesses by looking after the health of their people, and our team includes doctors, nurses, occupational health technicians and operational support colleagues who all play an important part in delivering a great service.
This is an exciting point in our journey. Alongside our occupational health services, we also offer private health and wellness services to the wider public. That means we are evolving, growing and creating new opportunities for people who want to be part of a business with real momentum.
We offer a range of benefits, including:
Being a co-owner of All Health Matters through the Employee Ownership Trust. After passing a probationary period, all co-owners are eligible to receive tax-free bonuses from company profits
5% Employer Pension Contribution
Benenden Health corporate health scheme (available after 3 months continuous service to employees working 4+ days per week)
Perkbox - discounts on shopping and perks
Cycle2Work scheme
Home & Tech discounts
Free annual flu vaccine
Free & discounted private health services
2 company 'away days' each year (this summer we went to Port Lympne and built feeders for the giraffes)
Because we are employee-owned, our PAYE team members become co-owners of the business. That means when the company does well, everyone shares in that success. If you like the idea of joining a business where people genuinely care, pull together and have a stake in where things go next, this could be a great fit.
We’re really proud of our team and are looking for someone who’ll fit in like the missing piece of the puzzle. If you think that could be you, apply now!
