Service Description

Please use this service to book a private blood test when you don’t have a blood test request form from another medical professional. A lipid profile blood test measures the levels of various fats in the blood, including total cholesterol, LDL (bad cholesterol), HDL (good cholesterol), and triglycerides, helping to assess the risk of heart disease and guide decisions on how to manage it. This service includes a summary of the results, with advice about next steps if required. How it works: 1 - Appointment Booking: Choose a convenient appointment and book online with no charge at this time. 2 - Confirmation: Our nursing team will call you in advance to confirm the suitability of this test. If it is suitable, we will ask for payment at this point. If not suitable, we will confirm your booking cancellation. 3 – Day of appointment: We allocate at least 15 minutes for a blood draw to ensure a calm experience. Couches are available if you are worried about fainting, and our team will help you feel as relaxed as possible. 4 - Results: We'll send your sample off to our lab and await the results – usually available within 2-7 days. As soon as the results are available, we’ll send these to you by email along with a summary of what the result means for you and any suggested next steps. You are welcome to continue your health journey with All Health Matters or take your results elsewhere for follow-up support. Cancellation Policy

To cancel and reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. After this time, a charge may apply.

Booking terms & further information

A deposit is due at time of booking to secure your appointment. Appointments are not confirmed until this has been paid. This deposit is non-refundable unless the appointment is cancelled by All Health Matters, or unless you give at least 2 working days' notice. Please note that Wellness Clinics at All Health Matters does not offer an ongoing care or treatment package and are an advisory service only. All Health Matters cannot treat or diagnose medical conditions and will refer you to back to NHS services via your GP if any results indicate that follow up is advisable. All Health Matters will give you a copy of your results to give to your GP. We can also write a private referral letter if you have access to private health care, however this may be chargeable dependant on the package you have selected. All Health Matters do not accept responsibility for your ongoing health, and the onus is on you, the customer, to follow any recommendations given as part of the medical assessment. By consenting to proceed with the appointment, you are agreeing to accept these terms.
