AHM open dedicated coronavirus helpline for Lucas employees

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

On 20th April, All Health Matters launched a dedicated helpline for employees of Lucas to ask questions about coronavirus and work.

Danny Lucas, Managing Director of the fit out and finishing firm Lucas, approached All Health Matters to provide a telephone line for his employees as an additional source of support during the coronavirus crisis. Lucas employees now have a dedicated service which allows them to call and speak to a doctor about anything to do with coronavirus and work.

This service compliments the existing measures put in place by Lucas as part of their "Stop the Spread" campaign. This campaign aims to protect their employees whilst they carry out their work in the construction sector. With pressures on NHS services currently at a high, it can be stressful for people not knowing where to go when they have a question that isn't urgent, but is perhaps a source of concern or stress. Danny has said he wanted to give his team a comfort factor and go above and beyond to help them. Talking about the helpline in the Lucas podcast, he says it is a "safety net feeling in the business" and that his team have "all been getting a lot of assurance from it".

Gill Monk, MD of All Health Matters said she expects to roll out a similar service to other clients over the coming weeks.
